For architects and interior designers specifying signage. We turn your design intent into signs that are buildable, code-compliant and on budget.
How we work with design teams
- Early input: bring us in during design development and we’ll flag code, material and cost issues before they reach the bid set.
- Design intent, built right: we match your sign family, finishes and typography, and suggest alternates only when they save cost or improve durability.
- Shop drawings and samples: every sign type gets a shop drawing for review, and we provide physical samples of finishes and braille on request.
- ADA review: we check tactile text, braille, mounting heights and locations against the 2010 ADA Standards and flag anything that won’t pass.
What to send us
- Sign schedule or message schedule
- Floor plans with sign locations marked
- Sign type drawings or design intent sketches
- Finish, color and material specifications (PMS, paint or laminate references)
- Client brand standards, if the project has them
Specifying ADA signs
- Call for raster braille (Grade 2) and raised characters at least 1/32”, uppercase sans serif, 5/8”–2” tall.
- Specify a non-glare finish with high contrast between characters and background.
- Show mounting height as 48” minimum to the baseline of the lowest tactile character and 60” maximum to the highest, on the latch side of the door.
